A video circulating on social media shows the officer striking Kaio Souza, who falls to the ground after the blow. The footage shows Kaio approaching the officer, who pushes him. The argument continues, and the officer pushes those involved again.
At one point, Oliveira punched the man in the chin and mouth, and the man was taken to Caieiras Hospital.
On Saturday, the case was registered at the Caieiras Police Station as drunkenness, resisting arrest, disobeying orders, and mutual bodily harm. The Military Police Internal Affairs Department was notified

The Military Police reports that an internal investigation has been opened to investigate the case, which is being monitored by the PM’s Internal Affairs Department. The police officer has been removed from operational duty. The case was registered at the Caieiras Police Station and will be forwarded to the city’s 1st Police Precinct, which will continue the investigations
