ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – For the second day in a row, a plane has gone off the runway at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield.
Just before 3 p.m on Thursday, emergency crews were called to the airport for a plane off the runway. Early reports are that there were 10 people on the plane and no injuries.

Around 24 hours earlier, a plane also went off the runway at the airport. There were no injuries in that instance either
The incidents happened at different locations on the runway. It is believed landing gear collapsing may have played a role in at least one of the instances
