Goiás (GO), Brazil – A woman who had been reported missing was rescued on Friday, 21 August 2026, by the Specialized Policing Company (CPE) of the Military Police after officers found her tied up and being held against her will by her former partner. According to preliminary information, the victim was located during an operation attended by the CPE. The suspect, identified as the oman’s former companion, was arrested by the Military Police and taken to the competent authorities, where he will face the appropriate legal proceedings.
