A homicide was recorded in the early hours of Friday (8) in the city of Cajazeiras, in the Sertão da Paraíba. The victim, identified as Rafael Saturnino da Silva, 32, was hit by a gunshot at close range inside a bar, around 1:41 am.
According to information from witnesses, Rafael and the suspect – a 40-year-old street vendor – would have been involved in an argument moments before the crime, exchanging verbal threats. Despite this, both seemed to reconcile shortly after.
Images captured by security cameras show that the accused left the place, went to his car, returned armed with a revolver and fired the shot at Rafael. The victim was even rescued, but did not resist the injuries.
The suspect fled shortly after the crime and, until the early afternoon of Friday, was still on the run. The Civil Police is investigating the case and is taking steps to locate and arrest the accused.
